Summary
The Tradeshow and Event Specialist is responsible for supporting WellDyne''s annual trade show and event attendance, based on the strategy developed by Marketing and Sales leadership. The Tradeshow and Event Specialist works with the Sales and Marketing teams to plan, coordinate, and execute trade show and event attendance to provide maximum exposure for WellDyne''s business and drive new business opportunities. This person must have a strong focus on ensuring WellDyne''s success through its tradeshow and event presence.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain a master schedule of shows, including shows and events attended, business unit represented, feedback, etc.
Use Sales feedback to assess value of shows and plan for upcoming year
Hold kick-off meeting with key stakeholders for key shows to determine goals, activities, etc.
Develop and manage planning packets, timelines and deadlines; coordinate shipping of displays to include all required documentation; show service requirements; shipping, set-up and break-down; participant registration and lodging; coordination of show literature and promotional products; and coordination of show advertising
Work with Marketing team to develop necessary materials for shows, including booth graphics, ads, company descriptions, flyers, and mailings
Manage client entertainment programs, including corporate sponsorship of golf tournaments and clay shoots; activities include registration, sponsorship, promotional materials, and participant tracking
Manage the corporate health fair initiative; work with outside vendor to provide manpower, testing, and materials needed for various health fairs
Research and proactively seek speaking opportunities for senior leaders and key partners
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor''s degree preferred
At least two years of previous experience managing multiple corporate trade shows at one time
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Critical thinker who can assess and continually improve processes, and find solutions in challenging situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full working knowledge of and expertise in Microsoft Office
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing work environment and in redirecting efforts quickly when necessary
EOE M/F/D/VEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
