Primary Responsibility: Ensures optimized balance between customer service performance and inventory for assigned product categories. Supports overall customer service objectives as well as inventory strategies/policies through metrics tracking, detailed analysis and action plan development/tracking for assigned business unit. Subject matter expert on OE and IAM (independent aftermarket) customer service aspects, including reporting and all business processes related to servicing these customers.

Essential Tasks:
Review, analyze and execute replenishment planning for assigned product categories. Release and manage purchase orders to support the inventory plan. Monitor demand and expedite orders based on customer demands/forecasts.
Subject matter expert on OE/IAM customer service business requirements.
Supports inventory strategies and policies through maintenance and auditing of all system data for planning and inventory management for assigned product line.
Responsible for LEAN process mapping of new and evolving processes related to OE/IAM Customer specific requirements
Supports inventory goals, strategies and policies through audit and analysis for business unit. Works closely with German planning group on policy setting recommendations and adjustments.
Engages in production scheduling process to ensure connection between supply plans and customer requirements schedules. As applicable, schedules shop production and/or expedite orders.
Regular review of priorities with suppliers to ensure customer service and inventory targets are met. Maintain open communications with suppliers regarding annual forecasts and capacity constraints. This activity may include supplier visits as necessary.
Analyzes on-going customer backorder issues, performs root cause analysis and drives improvements through cross-functional teams.
Prepares inventory projections for internal and vendor review, with planning group.
Prepares and maintains key metrics on assigned suppliers and inventories.
As applicable, update part item master information in ERP. Responsible for accurate item master set up and maintenance of bills of material; update ABC/XYZ parts in system.
Perform related tasks and assignments as required.

Organizational Relationships: Reports to Inventory Manager. Has no direct reports. Works closely with Sourcing, Planning (including OE support plants), Customer Service/Sales


Experience Requirements: 3-5 years in key aspects of inventory planning, experience in dealing with manufacturing environment and overseas suppliers preferred. Strong skills in Inventory Planning Software (Navision and/or SAP preferred). Microsoft Office Suite required - including strong Excel skills. Microsoft Access a plus. Excellent analytical, statistical analysis, written/verbal communication and presentation skills required. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
