Community Services Group (CSG), one of the largest Human Services Providers in PA, is currently recruiting for a Program Specialist for our Adult Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD/MR) Residential Program in Lycoming County.
Location: Williamsport, PA
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday flexibility in schedule and on-call is required for this position

The Program Specialist is responsible for individual assessment, coordination, development, and implementation of program activities in adult day services settings. The Program Specialist, in conjunction with other team members, is responsible for individual assessment, development, and facilitation of individual and group activities in the areas of cognitive, affective, communication, physical, prevocational, and adult daily living skills development in order to promote greater independence, interdependence and community integration. This position will also complete the duties of a Residential Supervisor for this program.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and/or completes initial and on-going assessments of individuals.
Coordinates and/or develops, reviews, and ensures implementation of individual support plans.
Develops, facilitates, and ensures implementation of planned program activities.
Coordinates and participates in multidisciplinary team meetings; collaborates and cooperates with individuals, family members, other provider agencies, and advocates.
Engages in daily interaction and communication with program participants.
Utilizes local resources to promote involvement in community activities, including volunteer opportunities.
Accompanies individuals into the community providing support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
Provides training and supervises adult day services staff.
Monitors program and staff compliance to all Community Services Group (CSG) policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
Reports and provides follow-up for incidents as outlined in the Incident Management Bulletin and CSG's policy on Incident Management.
Maintains work environment, equipment, and materials for cleanliness and safety.
Completes all assigned administrative tasks relative to the program, i.e. review of staff schedules, completion and review of time, travel and billing documentation, etc.
Provides coverage in emergency situations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
To be considered you must meet the following
Qualifications:
Minimum Education, Credentials, and
Experience:
A master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with mental illness and/or mental retardation/ intellectual and developmental disabilities;
Or
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with mental illness and/or mental retardation/ intellectual and developmental disabilities;
Or
An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with mental illness/ mental retardation/ intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
Must be able to travel to trainings/meetings upon request of program director.
Must be able to drive passenger vans and accompany individuals into the community and provide support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
