Your daily responsibilities include:
A Survellance Observer discreetly observes all casino and related operations to assure that assets are protected against illegal or dishonest gaming activities and that company policies and procedures are being followed. Maintains vigilant physical and covert surveillance or activities of customers and cast members in all gaming areas.
Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property
Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions
Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games
Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner
Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests
Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of gaming procedures is a plus. Position requires applicant to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Work Permit.
