These are seasonal 1st and 2nd shift positions.
Below are the positions that are currently being offered. Each position varies with the amount of time spent standing, sitting, or rotation through different jobs. Please note that stitching experience is preferred but not necessary.
Maine Hunting Shoe:
Stitcher 4 position:
1. Stitches and forms leather or canvas components according to specifications.
2. Inspect in-process work. Report substandard quality.
3. Maintain machine and make minor adjustments as needed.
4. Assume additional related responsibilities as required.
Finish End position:
1. Setup Maine hunting shoe tops and bottoms.
2. Apply cement to top and bottom and store on drying boards.
3. Align top to bottom and press into place.
4. Insert inner soles, attach laces, seal and stitch in boot liners.
5. Visually inspect in-process work. Report substandard quality.
Direct to Business
Machine Operator:
1. Performs monogramming, and embroidery machine operation.
2. Processes customer order according to customer specifications utilizing various equipment at full capacity
3. Operates equipment at maximum efficiency by leveraging assistance of the machine support position.
4. Performs routine equipment maintenance on machinery.
5. Performs support, Quality Assurance and verifying as needed.
6. Reports issues/concerns to technical trainer or team leader.
7. Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.
All candidates who apply should feelcomfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Production experience preferred but not required
Demonstrated passion for customer service
Stitching experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a team environment
Minimal Computer Skills
Attention to Quality
Adhere to Safety Guidelines

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
