This is a start-up program, which you will help develop and select team members and will work in tandem with a designated NCI university.

Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the daily operational needs of the Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant Program; providing ongoing support for staff activities to ensure effective and efficient services are consistently provided. This encompasses scheduling, timekeeping, supply order, acquisition, and inventory; customer service through patient and other departmental interfaces.
Collaborates between inpatient and outpatient aspects of the program.
Reviews and manages all collaborative aspects of program shared with the University of Colorado Bone Marrow Transplant Program
Management of associates; to include hiring, orientation, evaluation and counseling of staff, competency documentation; education and training of facility topics and overall safety practices. Maintenance of personnel records.
Oversees quality assurance and improvements activities for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
Responsible for marketing the Bone Marrow Transplant Program locally and regionally. This is to include addressing customer service issues, pursuit and maintenance of new business in conjunction with the Oncology Service Line Director and Physician Director. Participates in long-range, strategic planning. Marketing will be in collaboration with both St. Mary's Public Relations and the PR Department of the University of Colorado.
Reviews aggregate data for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplant (ASBMT). Compiles and creates reports for the program as requested.
Responsible for budget (operational and capital, planning, and monitoring), and program and hospital goals, including billing, collections, charge reconciliation, and CPT & HCPCS codes (in conjunction with facility and System Finance representatives). Maintains departmental CDM in conjunction with System coding department.
Standards and Accreditation Compliance- assistance in Maintenance of Joint Commission, FDA (Food and Drug Administration), and state accreditation requirements. Responsible for FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) program including site visits, and oversees development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
Education: Three years beyond High School. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Nursing; Masters preferred
Experience: Two or more years of relevant experience.
