A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a Senior Java Developer to join our team in Augusta, Maine. We are looking for local candidates OR those willing to relocate to the area.
Responsibilities for JAVA Developer:
Work on product development through all phases of software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
Develop Java software modules using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies. Technical design and development of new enhancements.
Work closely with team leads to translate requirements into high-quality, timely deliverables.
Contribute as a strong hands-on technical member in project development activities.
Produce clean and unit-tested code.
Ability to study new technologies and bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project.
Perform code reviews within the team.
Mentor junior engineers and guide them with their assignments.
Create the java program to print and create the letters including barcoding of the pdf for later printing. This person must have an SQL (Oracle 10g+) and Java skill set. This person will also be able to create XSQL pages. This person must have skills with java web services integrating with OBIEE web services
Required Skills:
Five years'' experience in Java/J2EE
Five years'' experience in PL/SQL development
Five years'' experience in Core Java development experience ; J2EE programming experience, including Servlets, JSP, Web Services
Three years of extensive experience building highly scalable, distributed systems Three years'' experience with multi-threaded architectures, thread management, latency and throughput optimization
Three years'' experience in Hibernate, test-drive development, XSQL pages, and agile/scrum development
Desired Skills:
Experience with open-source frameworks. Spring and Hibernate experience a plus.
