At Rockfish, our Associate Director of Technology is responsible for managing incoming work and coordinating the efforts of a team of Developers including the creation of task lists and performing task/ticket triage. The Associate Director, Technology is a holder of project context and a liaison with other departments across the agency while also contributing directly to development efforts on highly complex sites. The Associate Director, Technology assists in architecting solutions on complex projects from requirements gathering to implementation.
Responsibilities:
Manages the work of a team of developers and sets team deadlines.
Direct reports include: Developer1, Developer 2, Senior Developer.
Inspires and motivates team as well as collaborating with team on solutions.
Expert development skills and an ability to teach and coach others to improve their skills.
Communicate clearly and effectively with account managers and clients.
Communicate with Resource Manager to allocate team resources as necessary for new projects.
Leads the application of systems development lifecycle processes effectively on client engagements.
Regularly demonstrates and reviews the adherence to best practices for the technologies and tools used by the team.
Applies knowledge of current development trends and techniques to the work of his/her team.
Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally and/or in writing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
