Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional opportunity for an SIU (Special Investigation Unit) Data Analyst in Michigan . Candidates will be working with large volumes of data, preparing and analyzing data, supporting SIU personnel as well as various levels of leadership.
Duties:
Support investigations though use of visual analytics and other programs in conjunction with problem solving skills
Recognize patterns in large volumes of data from various sources
Ability to multitask in order to maintain department workflow, as required.
Clearly demonstrate ownership of the data analysis by partnering with the field expert
Adheres to data accuracy, quality and validation guidelines
Provides information to SIU Leadership by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings and provide recommendations
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes organization mission by completing related results as needed
Primary location residing in one of these states MI, IN, PA
## Qualifications
Strong investigative skills
Strong in MS Application (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Possess quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Self-starter, high energy and detail oriented; ability to work with minimal supervision
Candidates are open to constructive feedback and demonstrate initiative in developing skills needed to do the job well
Manager multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment; manage both internal and external resources
Experience using Link Analysis software is a plus
Four year college degree is preferred
Experience in the medical field and knowledge of billing is a plus
