Reviewing the terms of new and renewal reinsurance and other ancillary contracts, verifying agreed upon terms, ensuring that mandatory clauses are incorporated, revising or amending contracts, corresponding with brokers and other partners. Drafting contracts and internal agreements, to include trusts, confidentiality agreements, indemnification and hold harmless agreements, etc. This position requires working closely with the underwriters and actuaries and, from time-to-time, working with claims adjusters, attorneys in the Law Dept., Comptrollers, and others throughout the company.
