Responsibilities:
Duty Description:
Serves as an Operations Analyst in Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PM SCIE) assisting Acquisition Product Manager (APMs) and Acquisition Support personnel with editing, reviewing, and understanding traditional acquisition Milestone documents: Acquisition Strategy, Test Evaluation Master Plans, System Engineering Plans, Cost Benefit Analysis, et al. Provide assistance to the Operation Chief in submitting the SPEAR report, Sync Matrix document, preparing and or updating Standard Operation Procedures and Policies, and perform operations functions as needed.
Assists in the coordination and integration of individual projects into a master schedule using Microsoft Project.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired
Experience:
Knowledge of Army Regulation 25-50, DoD 5002 series documents, etc.
Experience writing and reviewing traditional acquisition Milestone documents.
Experience or training in integrating individual Project Schedules into a master schedule using MS Project.
Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing).
Ability to utilize Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience or training in acquisition program / project management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years college or vocational training in area of specialty plus twelve (12) years relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education/ experience for total of fourteen (14) years.
Demonstrate leadership ability and good communication skills required.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
Work Environment:
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Office is located off site at: Fort Belvoir, VA.
Equipment and Machines:
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Attendance:
Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Essential Functions:
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
