POSITION SUMMARY
The employee must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct care to the age groups consistent with patients served in their position. The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients through the utilization of nursing process. The Registered Nurse uses knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, psychosocial, and nursing sciences. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible to the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio. BSN preferred.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills including typing/keyboarding and ability to proficiently use a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office.
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
Two years experience in surgery, emergency department or critical care required.
Current AHA BLS andACLS.NRP, PEARS, PALSorSTABLEmay be required based on unit assignment within six months of employment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
