Coordinate all aspects of Molex's product and solutions deployment and service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction. Projects involve site design, project management & deployment, material procurement, customer acceptance of cabling and systems, system troubleshooting, and moves/adds/changes. May work at client sites from time-to-time but should drive Molex's remote verification methodology in lieu. Oversee and report progress of schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment; drive follow-on services annuity. Project management skills are key, but strong technical background is also required to manage competing interests. Involves extensive interaction with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Process & Systems. Accountabilities 1. Become an expert on Molex's unique Project Control Methodology (PCM) for managing IP Infrastructure deployments and a super-user of its Project Control (MPC) System. 2. Own customer infrastructure and IP installation projects from inception to completion. Creatively apply PCM and MPC to achieve rapid and sustained efficiencies in Molex''s Project Management Office. Favor Certified Installers who embrace PCM and eagerly submit compliant evidence of work performed. 3. Continuously improve Molex's PCM templates (contracts, RFP package, specs, standard transmittals, etc.) and recommend improvements to the PCM concept with a focus on lessening site travel through remote verification of work 4. Recommend improvements to the MPC System and acceptance test changes to it as requested 5. Direct activities of Project Coordinators skilled in PCM that assist PMs with MPC system administration, thereby freeing PMs up for higher-value contributions 1. 8-12 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management and a technical or project management degree from an accredited university 2. Design and deployment experience with structured cabling, cameras, building systems desired 3. Process driven 4. Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing environment and new challenges 5. Strong communicate in writing and verbally with an emphasis of simply conveying status 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 7. US and infrequent international travel as required
