Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Receive & schedule concrete orders for timely & efficient delivery. Assist customers in determining proper product required; quote prices as necessary. Communicate regularly with internal and external customers regarding scheduling and job status. Dispatch trucks based on load size, truck and driver capabilities, and jobsite conditions. Assist drivers in finding jobsites. Assist other customer service staff as needed.
Experience/
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficient with PC skills such as key boarding and familiarity with Microsoft Windows Office software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Superior phone skills and ability to work as part of a team to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to work irregular hours and weekends if necessary. Detail oriented and accurate with data entry. Experience in customer service and/or ready mix concrete preferred.
