Overview:
Provide Administrative support for Logistics & Distribution and Procurement Departments. Position will report directly to the Director, Logistics & Distribution but will be a shared resource in the two departments. Individual must be able to handle multiple priorities in a very fast paced environment.


Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all existing rates, routes, fuel surcharges and accessorial charges are accurate in the Transportation module of the ERP system.
2. Add new rates in the Transportation module of the ERP system.
3. Add new routes in the Transportation module of the ERP system.
4. Maintain files and computer databases for established rate schedules and carrier agreements.
5. Provide rates quotes for existing negotiated rates.
6. Resolve freight payment issues and suspended freight bills in a third party freight payment system.
7. File claims related to carriers and their performance as directed.
8. Independently compiles data and statistical reports as requested
9. Release, track and follow-up on stock & non-stock purchase orders as assigned for Procurement Department.
10. Schedule freight forwarders for inbound stock & non stock inventory as assigned for Procurement
11. Department.
12. Work with graphic artists for approved packaging artwork & receive artwork PO for Procurement Dept.
13. Lead contact and order point person for internal CSR's for all custom & special order items. Confirm
14. paperwork accuracy, release purchase orders, track order to customer, receive purchase order, obtain freight costs & work with CSR to ensure proper invoicing.
15. Provide standard costs from JDE for internal inquiries.
16. Update purchase price costs as directed for the Procurement Dept.
17. Maintain supplier contact & pricing files for Procurement Dept. shared V drive.
18. Work with & follow-up with suppliers & procurement on past due purchase order report.
19. Order office supplies for procurement & transportation departments.


Job Specifications/Skills:
1. Minimum of five years' experience supporting Director and Manager Level positions in the Supply Chain & Procurement function.
2. Purchasing, Logistics & Distribution experience.
3. Bending and reaching to file. Ability to lift/carry/move up to 15 pounds.
4. Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
5. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and large, complex projects.
6. Superior organizational abilities.
7. Self-starter with a high level of self-motivation.
8. Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. JD Edwards experience is a plus.
9. Creative thinking.
10. Results oriented personality.
11. Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
12. High School Diploma required; Associates Degree in business related courses preferred.
13. 5% travel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
