The Molding Plant Manager is responsible for the effective management of all affairs of the
location. Individual is responsible for managing and overseeing overall plant operations
including finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance
control, and human resources. Makes recommendations to improve safety, productivity,
quality, and efficiency of operations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices,
and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Plant Manager Objectives:
Manage and direct department managers.
Evaluate and develop department managers.
Direct resources to support production plans and schedules.
Responsible for developing, managing and implementing capital plan expenditures.
Conduct capacity planning
Encourage and facilitate a continuous improvement environment.
Identify and drive cost reduction projects utilizing Lean Manufacture principles
Assist with process improvement.
Provide technical expertise.
Assist with problem solving.
Promote teamwork.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in lean systems, ERP, and quality systems
- Experience in automotive part supply and or contract manufacturing
- Composites manufacturing experience, SMC process, and compression molding
- Mechanical aptitude
- Financial acumen
- Quality Management System understanding
- Lean six sigma understanding
