Job Details:
The Nurse Informaticist works closely with clinical staff in the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of Clinical Information Systems as they relate to patient care and will provide expertise in the delivery of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing complex clinical systems, identifying and implementing clinical functions and activities suitable for computer application that strive to improve patient care/safety and/or reduce costs, ensuring information systems are consistent with professional standards of practice.
Bachelor s degree preferable with a Business, Health Systems Management, or Nursing concentration.Must have been a RN with three years experience in an acute care facility.Four years of systems analysis experience required, preferably in a health care environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
