Description:
Technical design in the area of controls systems and instrumentation.
Ability to correctly apply drafting techniques while efficiently developing electrical drawings utilizing AutoCAD software. Preform engineering calculations to properly size conduit, cable tray, wire, and circuit protection per applicable codes. Generate a logical list of field devices containing information needed to design a PLC & DCS control system including device type, description, channel assignments, and connection details. Read and interpret and utilize the information contained in process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to create electrical, instrumentation, and power designs.

Specifications: BSEE or BSEET, 5-8 years experience, EIT-preferred
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform design and engineering functions in accordance with accepted practices and company standards. Perform design calculations related to tasks assigned. Prepare project scopes of work, preliminary design concepts, and cost estimates for small projects. Assist in gathering field data and preparing project specifications. Coordinate design with other members of the project team. Prepare scopes of work, bills of material, specifications, cost estimates, and other necessary documents for small projects. Prepare project correspondence as required. Maintain positive client relationships on projects assigned. Ability to travel.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
