This position is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and providing direct care to the adolescent and adult ante partum patient. This position reports to the immediate shift Charge Nurse, Unit Coordinator and Department director. This position manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing and coordinating care for patients who are laboring or for who labor is impending. This position may also assess walk in patients and perform an initial medical screening.
Associate's Degree In Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience as a direct care provider preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills either through work experience or clinical rotation.
AHA healthcare provider CPR, ACLS, NRP certification
Current and valid professional registered nurse license in Georgia
Basic Monitoring and Intermediate Fetal HeartEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
