Behavioral Health Nurse BHN

AccentCare is seeking a Behavioral Health RN (BHN) to join our home health team. As part of this team the BHN will:
1. Maintain the delivery of quality patient care with a specialty in the area of behavioral/mental health.
2. Combine the activities of direct and indirect care provided to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
3. Partner with CHHA, CNA, LVN, and RN staff regarding patient care activities.
4. Perform patient assessments, develop patients care plans, evaluate patients care plans'' effectiveness, modify as appropriate, and document all patient care as appropriate.
Required Skills
1. Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma Graduate.
2. A minimum of 2 years Acute Psychiatric Experience or certification from an accredited Psychiatric Program.
3. Acute care experience in medicine and surgery in a hospital setting strongly preferred.
4. Home care experience preferred.
5. Licensed and current registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in your state of residence.
6. The selected individual must have a current CPR certification and sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks, as required.
7. The selected individual must also possess a valid driver''''s license, proof of current auto insurance and registration.

2. Strong organizational skills.
3. Exercise strong decision making and judgment skills.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
