Summary: Utilizing the nursing process, the RN during his or her specified work period is responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care to patients in all settings where nursing care is provided in collaboration with other health care providers. The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities. The delivery of nursing care at Soin Medical Center (SMC) reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and nursing department.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN license in the State of Ohio (must obtain BSN within 5 years from hire), a minimum of year of experience in post-partum, labor and delivery, or special care nursery, and Current CPR certification.
SKILLS AND
Experience:
ACLS within one (1) year of hire; NRP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire; Certification in specialty preferred. Must possess exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to organizational mission and standards of behavior.
Must have minimum nursing skills/experience as required for unit of hire
Be willing to meet the scheduling requirements for the position.
Be willing to float to any department if not needed in home unit.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
