Job Overview:
This position covers detailed knowledge in software development lifecycle tools, operating systems, operational tools, networks, and other similar systems support software. Focuses primarily on information and document requirements for data, workflow, logical process, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program. Report on findings as directed.
Review forms and reports, and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements.
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Report on findings as directed.
Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
Extensive planning skills required to conduct audits of information processing systems and applications to ensure accuracy of information and promote operational efficiency.
Breadth and depth knowledge of constructing, refining, and maintaining information models to meet business requirements.
Establish audit objectives and devise audit plans to ensure continued data integrity.
Provide extensive technical support to other IT departments and user organization on relevant technical issues.
Conduct special assignments and to develop alternative solutions within specific parameters and guidelines.
Provide effective technical advice and to serve as a technical training resource in specific functional assignment areas.
May guide and direct the day-to-day activities of other engineers within a specific functional area.
May be assigned as a Project Leader for technical projects that require project management and interpersonal skills.
Apply in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in functional areas to arrive at decisions and problem resolutions that are complex and technical in nature.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science a related discipline preferred.
4 years relevant work experience preferred.
Must have strong computer skills within Development Tools such as SCM, CVS, Harvest, Meister, Maven, or other source code repositories and software build tools.
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrate first-rate analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, while reconciling discrepancies and solving technical problems.
Logical thought process and ability to learn new systems, concepts, and procedures.
Must be available to work off hours or shifts as required for 24/7/365 support.
