Our client, located in Mishawaka, is looking for 2 Manufacturing Engineers. These are contract positions.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain complete and accurate illustrated assembly instructions.
Provide floor support for manufacturing with technical engineering services for all phases of production.
Solve problems and evaluate tool requirements to assure a quality product.
Participate in using and implementation of Lean Six Sigma and ISO standard tools within the assembly process.
This position requires one to interact with production employees, supervisors, quality, engineering, suppliers, consultants, contractors, customers, and the government.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Technology or equivalent experience required.
Must have 3 - 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering in automotive assembly.
Must have 3 - 5 years experience in reading blue prints and illustrating.
Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office software. Auto CAD, UG and Vis-Mockup, Team Center, Share point and Access Data Base is a plus.
Experience interfacing on union matters helpful.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
