JOB
Summary:
The Software Engineer will support all phases of the software development life cycle to include requirements analysis, system design, software development, testing, and documentation and maintenance for complex software applications and systems. The successful candidate will have initiative, be willing to learn new skills and technologies as necessary, and be able to determine the methods and procedures required for use on assignments. The Junior Software Engineer will be expected to be able to manage assigned tasks and be proactive in gathering the necessary information that is required to fulfill tasking.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Perform S/W code analysis to assist in the formulation of deploying web applications to application servers.
Perform enhancements in software written in Java, J2EE and JDBC.
Provide software/system test and integration.
Troubleshooting web services, JBoss administration and deploying.
Update software documentation.
Qualifications:
BASIC
Qualifications:
Currently possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Bachelor''s degree with 3
years of overall related software engineering, software development, and/or programming. Additional training, certifications, and/or years of experience may substitute in lieu of a degree.
Specific experience with requirements analysis, software development and installation, integration, evaluation.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Experience/familiarity with client/server and web applications.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
