JPG includes primary care and specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, orthopaedics, psychiatric and counseling, colon cancer screening program, and diabetes center. JPG continues to meet the needs of the community by providing quality physicians and staff to care for patients of all ages with locations throughout Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Position
Summary: Responsible for developing analyses and proformas for employed physicians or acquired physician practices. Implements startups of practices for the Physician Enterprise (PE) and assures their smooth operations. This position reports to the PE''s COO.
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of the concepts, practices, policies, procedures, standards, systems and tools applicable to the business function(s). Broad knowledge of the content, intent and application of federal and state regulations; ability to keep abreast of trenda, developments and requirements impacting matters within designation scope of responsiblity. Valid Kentucky driver''s license is required or other evidence of equivalent mobility.
Education Required:
Master''s degree in related field preferred; bachelor''s degree required. Significant, appropriate and relevant years of work experience may substitute for the master''s degree requirement.
Previous Related Experience Required:
Minimum 6 years of progressively responsbile relevant professional work experience. Minimum 5 years in a management capacity & in relevant experience in business planning & development. Previous Cardiology experience preferred.
Special Skills or Atrributes Required:
Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies. Extensive knowledge of the concepts, practice, policies, procedures, standareds, systems and tools in health care administration and financial management. Broad knowledge of the content, intent and application of federal and state regulations; ability to keep abreast of trends, developments/administration, with the abilitiy to utilize resources effectively to achieve business objectives. Ability to interact effetively with physicians, patients,staff and the public and represent the PE in a positive, professional manner reflective of the values of SJHS. . Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management relating to styaff supervision and performance management.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
