Enterprise Systems Business Analyst - Contract to Hire - Ann Arbor, MI
Optomi in partnership with a national consumer products company is seeking an Enterprise Systems Business Analyst to support and lead enterprise systems development efforts.
Successful candidates for the Enterprise Systems Business Analyst will be the main point of contact for the organization on 'why' the systems work the way they do and will support both HRIS and Financial Systems as the subject matter expert.

years leading all aspects of requirements definition and management activities for complex IT projects
Technical credibility - Peoplesoft and/or ERP experience preferred
Prior experience working in a consulting firm preferred

Key
Responsibilities: (50% Client Facing / 50% Systems)
Lead development of User Stories and Technical Requirements and related specifications, documentation and business case.
Provide leadership and assistance to help understand low level requirements, and remove obstacles between customer, end-user and development teams.
Assist in Pipeline management of Defects to ensure that defects are promptly and appropriately handled.
Create usability, functional and technical requirements to explain the project scope, reasons for the project and technologies that may be used in the project.
Decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical & textual techniques, including use cases, diagrams, process models, wireframes, functional and technical specifications.
Collaboratively document test criteria with requestors, developers, and quality control team.
Work with QA to reproduce, manage and test issue repairs.
Write user training manuals, help files, and facilitate training sessions for large applications, as needed.
Coordinate knowledge transfer from Development Teams to the Help Desk, Admin, and other support team(s).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
