Position
Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide advanced software development, application administration, or database administration solutions and support to our clients. Incumbents in this position will be tasked with technical responsibilities as part of a project. The Senior Solutions Specialist may participate in activities such as installing, deploying, configuring, programming, testing, and documentation. The Senior Solutions Specialist will handle engagements requiring knowledge of multiple technologies to assist the Lead Solutions Specialist in analysis and design when requested, and to provide technical sales support as needed.

## Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide advanced software development, application administration, or database administration solutions to clients
Develop technical and conceptual specifications in support of the overall solution
Develop data field mappings
Develop data conversion solutions
Develop interfaces to other application systems
Perform unit testing of developed code sections
Test applications, application server environments, or databases for data integrity performance, and usibility
Document completed technical work for clients
Maintain technical specifications throughout a project
Position Requirements and Basic
Qualifications: _ ___
Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
At least five years Information Technology experience, including experience in software development, software administration, or database administration
BPM or Business Process Reengineering Background, including Business Process Modeling experience
Lombardi, Teamworks and/or IBM BPM experience
## Other Position Requirements:
Experience with two or more of the following:
Java Web Programming background including Spring and Hibernate (or similar) - 2 years experience
Java Specializations including one of: Annotations based programming or Continuous integration familiarity
Agile development experience, including Scrum Master experience
WebSphere Application Server ND (2 years experience) including, Administration, Deployment and Tuning
Mobile development experience
Experience with DB2,SQL Server, Oracle, or other enterprise-class RDBMS __
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, i5/OS, z/OS, AIX, or Linux __
Experience as a member of a technical project team, from design through delivery __
Demonstrated experience making technical decisions regarding assigned tasks when presented with options by other team members
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and identifying potential problems and making appropriate changes as necessary
Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

Full software lifecycle development experience in a consulting environment preferred
IBM Service Bus integration development experience, including one of the following
DataPower
AS2, AS3, SFTP and EDI Protocol
Protocols, service request routing, and message transformations
MQ and Message Broker
ILOG or other rules engines
IBM partnership background
Essential Functions:
The position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel 50-75% to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis . _ _
