Position Summary
As a member of the MBCI Finance Team, this general accounting role will support the month end and quarterly corporate closing process. This position will be responsible for the preparation of multiple journal entries and reconciliation of account balances on a monthly basis. This position will also be responsible for the completion of various monthly reports and projects as assigned and lead process improvement projects that drive standardization and controls across multiple operational entities.
Accountabilities
Assist in the development of best business practices and drive process standardization.
Provide support for the month-end internal closing process, including generating journal entries, journal entry into the Friedman and Oracle systems, and month end report preparation.
Preparation of various monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
Completion of reports, analysis, and projects as required.
Monthly statutory reporting to FBHS, including financial statement and supplemental schedule compilation and submission.
Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of enterprise accounting system and function as super user for Finance department.
Prepare annual budget for multiple corporate accounts.
Other projects as assigned.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in an efficient manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn multiple ERP and Accounting systems (Oracle, BPC, HFM, Geac, Friedman, etc).
Experience & Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
Minimum 2-4 years of previous accounting experience.
Ability to learn multiple ERP and Accounting systems (Outlooksoft, HFM, Oracle, Friedman, etc).
Knowledge in the application of Accounting Principles and financial statement generation.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
