We are conducting a targeted search for a Compliance Analyst (Imports NAFTA) to work for our Energy client inRaleigh, NC

Length of W-2 Contract Assignment: 9
month initial, renewable assignment
Locations: Raleigh, NC
Travel: None
Pay Rate: $40.00 /Hour W-2 Maximum with all requirements (Straight W-2, no relocation assistance, no expense reimbursement, no benefits)
Corp-Corp Rate: No Corp-Corp, No Third Party, Client does not support H1B or EAD
Work Authorization Required: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, those Authorized to work in the US

Qualification Requirements:
? Bachelors Degree with 5
years experience in Import Compliance
? Possess strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and motivational skills ? Sound reasoning and judgment skills ? Detailed oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities ? Ability to interface with internal team members and suppliers ? Strong Computer and database skills ? Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role, specifically related to: ? Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications ? Free Trade Agreements ? Assists ? Internal Audits ? Program Improvement ? Professional able to work independently
Assist in the continuous improvement of the Sensus Metering Systems Import Compliance program
Provide support classifying products, valuation, reconciliation, country of origin, and assists
Develop and/or lead internal audits ? auditing entry filings to ensure compliance.
Reporting and resolving any discrepancies Participate in, develop, and conduct or coordinate training activities pertaining to import regulations

Main Duties &
Responsibilities:
? Assist in the continuous improvement of the Sensus Import Compliance program
? Provide support classifying products, valuation, reconciliation, country of origin, and assists
? Interact with North American Brokers to assist where necessary.
? Respond to Customs queries such as CF28s, CF29s
? Interact with Suppliers as needed
? Enhance record retention efforts surrounding compliance, maintaining documentation where needed
? Support NAFTA certification development
? Develop and/or lead internal audits ? auditing entry filings to ensure compliance.
Reporting and resolving any discrepancies
? Participate in, develop, and conduct or coordinate training activities pertaining to import regulations

All Qualified Candidates must be willing to work W-2 and take/pass a drug test and take/pass an employment verification and criminal background check, per our client?s human resources policy
