National Account Manager

Summary: This position develops and maintains national or major accounts, increases business among existing clients and promotes the organization to new clients in order to meet strategic business objectives. Required travel: 70%
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Coaching responsibilities for a range of 5-10 District Managers
Work to recruit and maintain a quality team of Managers
Work with other National and administrative managers on reports, meetings, etc.
Take an active role in new hire and continuous training sessions for district managers to include set up, leading selected sessions and supporting other technical trainers
Investigate and resolve any misconduct or performance issues and work with Sedona to determine the correct action.
Conduct individual ride along and phone support to sales representatives if needed
Conduct personnel evaluations midyear and annual.
Monitor monthly district managers reports.
Attend regional team meeting linked to beef, swine & dairy business and all other business units.
Motivate to increase sales success and maintain open communications between sales representatives and dairy, swine, & beef programs and create yearly incentive plans.
Maintain all budget and reporting.
Schedule regular meetings with company management.
Create a one year, three year and 5 year strategic plan.
Schedule and attend leadership training annually.
In all meetings be heard and valuable.
Technical Requirements
Computer Skills-proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point
Must have a computer with Windows 7 (or better), Excel, Power Point, and Word and Internet connection, E-mail address
Second phone (business line), cell phone
Must have clean driving record, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation
Education/Training/Experience
7 Years Management/Supervisory Experience
7 years Sales Experience
Experience in coaching/training
Four Year Degree
Good knowledge base of Agriculture- preferably in Dairy, Beef & SwineEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
