Administrative Coordinator - Vehicle Management Support Specialist

The Vehicle Management Support Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining vehicle registration for a large vehicle fleet and performing specialized administrative support functions for the Logistics Manager.
Technical Skills
Manage drivers license program for all company employees.
Process requirements for NV state license plates using a computerized database.
Process and track forms, receive and post license plate numbers and decals upon arrival.
Coordinate with using activity Vehicle Control Officers to ensure license plates and decals are properly affixed to vehicles and new registration is placed inside vehicles.
Monitor license plates being returned for disposal and take appropriate actions.
Ensure database accuracy and ensure existing license plates are ordered to allow sufficient time before expiration.
Answer telephones and assist customers with questions.
Review and process government driver's licenses in accordance with regulations.
Process Vehicle Identification Link (VIL) Key updates and corrections.
Validate and process requests for fuel cards.
Coordinate with internal and external customers to complete vehicle recall, warranty, and contract work; Establish and maintain rapport with local vendors to ensure timely, cost efficient, and complete work.
Process vehicle accidents and abuse through analyses; Create and maintain database entry as directed by the Logistics Manager.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred
Experience
Two or more years of experience in logistics management, transportation management, or related career field
Experience working with state compliance programs for vehicle license plates and registration is preferred
Experience working with government vehicles and regulations is preferred
Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance and access to work locations
