Our client, located in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking to hire a professional Accounting/Finance Controller with about 10 - 15 years of general, progressive accounting experience and strong management abilities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, managing accounting staff - work flows, training, motivating and mentoring; oversee FP&A;, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow; serve as the go to person for questions/issues regarding GAAP, general ledger activities, financial statements/statutory reporting, oversee internal controls and processes. Candidates will have: BS in Accounting (CPA preferred) Background in Corporate and/or Financial Services Accounting Ability and track record of streamlining, automating and improving business processes (strong plus) Working knowledge of ERP applications (SAP preferred) Excellent Excel skills QuickBooks exposure also a plus
