Senior Enterprise Architect - Big Data
We are seeking an end-to-end data expert who understands data storage, ingestion and implementing end to end scalable solutions.
As Senior Enterprise Architect you will apply your broad range of technical skills and experience in the enterprise application arena to recommend the next generation, scalable and extendible development and deployment platform for our products. This requires technical thought leadership and solution authority of next generation development and deployment platforms. Extensive experience in large software applications, RAD development environment and end to end enterprise architecture, combined with outstanding verbal, written and presentations skills will allow you to excel in this challenging but rewarding multifaceted position.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross functional engineering effort to build an optimized development and deployment platform to deliver and commercialize Analytic solutions to the market place
Develop technical solution designs including solution components, features, functions, sizing, performance and restrictions
Deliver technical architecture presentations and technical solutions according to customer requirements and product specifications
Perform hands on design work to prove product capabilities to customers during the evaluation (Proof of Concept) process
Create solution specific Acceptance Test Plans and Best Practices documents
Provide knowledge transfer and consulting to customers to ensure proper operation usage and efficiency
Own the technical solution from conception through deployment
Important Skills &
Experience:
Experienced in enterprise application architecture
Workload Analysis of Big Data and Hadoop workloads
Network Design and Performance Analysis
Solid level knowledge of WAN/ LAN network topologies, equipment & configuration
Modeling and performance optimization
Understanding of distributed/web based application architectures and techniques
Expert in benchmarking and sizing complex solutions
Knowledge in Linux, Unix and Windows installation and configuration
Familiarity with real-time analytics and very large datasets (petabytes).
Non-relational databases - NoSQL.
Experience with network security, threat defense or risk mitigation.
Business Skills
Grasp and present the company vision, technical solutions and value propositions
Display strong communication (verbal & written), presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills; frequent strategic interactions with high level clients
Develop positive customer relationships while deriving customer business requirements and delivering winning solutions
Education and Work Requirements:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

MUST BE U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Salary: DOE. Comprehensive benefits, bonus structure.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
