Global Automotive Manufacturer is seeking IMPLEMENTATION LEADER - North America for Machine Construction. In this role you will lead implementation of Construction activity of Blow Molding and Heavy Equipment Machines. In the first year, this will mainly be focused at the plants in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Future installations will take place at other locations in the USA and Mexico. Travel is expected to be about 50% in second year and beyond.
Responsibilities for the Implementation Manager
Lead the implementation of blow molding machine construction activity in North America.
Manage the machine retrofit and upgrades
Documentation of existing machine status
Work with the company's Machine construction team for development of program / software requirements
Co-ordinate activities with external suppliers for the machine retrofits
Requirements for the Implementation Manager
In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and is disciplined in their application
Bachelors degree in one or more of the engineering sciences highly desired, but not required
Experience in industrial automation
Must be able to travel approx. 50% throughout North America.
