Our client, a Registered Investment Advisor in Stamford, Connecticut (CT), seeks a Junior Performance Analyst to join their growing staff. In this role, you will respond to performance questions regarding client portfolios, benchmarks, and composites as well as miscellaneous points of data (of a performance, risk or statistical nature) related to client portfolios or capital markets. You will also be required to generate ad hoc and periodic custom performance, attribution and analytics reports as well as preparation of daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting.
Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):
Experience using APL and Mellon Workbench portfolio accounting systems
Experience using StatPro Composites is a plus
Knowledge of GIPS
At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
Strong analytical, mathematical, and spreadsheet skills
Solid understanding of investment performance calculations
High level of attention to detail and ability to perform routine tasks with accuracy
Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
