The Technology Manager will be a key member of a diverse and talented team of developers building high performance software for manufacturing solutions. You will lead a team of developers that are adding capabilities to a world class manufacturing software product. Above all you must have a passion for leading and helping other people learn, and the ability to apply these skills in a practical manner to your high quality work.
Essential Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into engineering requirements
Lead team in defining and accomplishing an engineering goal with well-defined scope
Review all feasibility analysis and prototyping of features
Generate clear and concise design documentation and hold cross functional reviews
Interface with QA Managers to ensure overall product quality
Investigate and evaluate new technologies
Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure product success
Ensure timely communications to stakeholders on significant issues or developments
Lead the overall RTS process including interfacing with customers and technical support
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's in Engineering or Science discipline with course concentration in computer science
Minimum 5 years' experience using object oriented design, data modeling, and analysis methodologies
Minimum 5 years' experience using .NET technologies like C#, WPF, WCF, WF, or Silver light
Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Minimum 5 years' experience as team lead on large software team
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong focus on satisfying the needs of the customers
Strong desire to constantly learn new things, and integrate them into your working skill set
Experience with windows mobile devices
Experience developing industrial communication software
Experience creating graphical user interfaces
Experience in web services, SOA, ESB, data modeling and databases
Experience with SQL programming
Experience working within an ISO-certified development process
Manufacturing IT or Automation Software industry experience
