The Commodity Site Leader - Investment casting will strategically develop and manage a global supply chain of goods and services to geographically diverse locations, while driving commercial advantage through achievement of quality, cost, usage and delivery goals. They will manage direct material volume & control costs while meeting delivery and quality requirements from the supply base.
Essential Responsibilities In addition you will:
Be the focal point to lead the development and execution of long-term commodity strategies for Gas Turbine Investment Casting purchasing through negotiation plan development and execution
Synergize with other commodity leaders to develop / execute strategy to contract and drive savings
Drive sourcing program and lead Site Unique material initiatives for strategic sourcing team including management of deflation activities and supply change risk mitigation
Deliver deflation on Year over Year measurable buy, reduce product cost and drive fulfillment metrics
Drive supplier selection development, and overall supplier management, in accordance with the developed strategy
Support Sourcing Initiatives including cycle reduction, Emerging Markets, Product Cost Out (PCO), Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing practices and cash flow improvement
Plan, prepare and execute Commodity Strategy - Blue Print and Op Plan
Manage projects in a matrix organization across the globe; including interacting with manufacturing personnel to understand unique supplier requirements of global supply chain business
Assist in the development and implementation of improved business processes
Provide technical guidance to suppliers toward assuring product/process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, finance, manufacturing or operations
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel to support business needs

Working knowledge of eSMS, Clear Orbit RCA and SDR systems
