Summary: _
Penske is seeking an intern to join our Transportation Management Support Services Department. This person will interact directly with Penske customers and will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction at all levels. This opportunity will be for approximately 12 weeks (May - August). Successful candidates will enjoy working with knowledgeable professionals in a great work environment.

Responsibilities:_
Provide operational support to assist in the management of customer order through the use of Transportation Management Software.
Tendering loads and making sure they are accurate.
Responsible for monitoring transport order process.
Respond to customer inquiries and solve any issues.
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
Student must be pursuing Bachelor's degree
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
Student should be entering Junior or Senior year
Completion of some core curriculum classes is preferred.
Customer service experience
Skills required include attention to detail, accuracy, sense of urgency, and excellent communication both written and verbal.
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
