A growing high-end retail company based in Alexandria is looking for a Senior Accountant, who will be able to do full cycle accounting for their US Operations. This is a great opportunity to join a high growth retail company. o Responsible for full cycle accounts payable o Resolve bill discrepancies, work with vendors and respond to inquiries o Review and sort, audit, match, organize invoices, post data to system and check requests o Manage all aspects of the billing, invoicing process and cash receipts o Manage bank account and petty cash Additional Job Functions/Responsibilities o Assist with monthend closing, inclusive of cash, prepaid and accrued expenses, account reconciliations, and journal entries o Assist with fixed asset management and inventory accounting o Assist with preparation of sales and use tax return o Assist with preparation of 1099 and other governmental filings o Assist with preparation of reports to overseas manager and coordinate with overseas team for other accounting/finance matters o Additional responsibilities as assigned o Office management duties To be considered for this position, please send your resume to marija.
