Humana's Internal Audit Consulting Group has a great opportunity for an exceptional Internal Audit Consultant. The Internal Audit Consulting Group is a leading edge team providing independent, objective assurance, consulting and business advisory services that evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Our role drives the achievement of Humana's strategic and financial objectives while guiding management on the appropriate level of risk taking necessary to achieve those objectives.
In addition to the exposure to corporate strategy, business plans, and the management teams that execute those strategies, associates are exposed to various learning opportunities, such as, Six Sigma, financial analysis and reporting, information technology development, project management and risk and control certification.
Assignment Capsule:
As an Internal Audit Consultant you will:
Coordinate various external examinations performed by CMS, state Departments of Insurance, etc.
Review and analyze processes, documentation and data to identify gaps in their effectiveness.
Develop and execute project plans under a set of implementation and delivery time constraints.
Establish priorities, execute multiple projects, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
Provide proactive consulting and facilitation on risk, control, and governance processes for those areas under review. Drive perfect service organization through partnership with business process owners on assessment of key metrics and the risk, control, governance processes that ensure their execution at best in class levels.
Serve as the primary customer interface at all levels of the organization.
Establish and build trusting relationships with internal business partners and external agencies.
Identify key issues and project related decisions for escalation to ensure timely resolution.
Regularly meet to review overall progress and resolve specific project issues.
Identify critical issues and ensure that all are tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
Manage time effectively to ensure the consistent execution of time-sensitive deliverables.

## Qualifications
Role Essentials
Bachelor's Degree
Successful track record in facilitating and collaborating across teams and managing projects
Demonstrates a firm understanding of project management disciplines
Ability to focus on the big picture and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Recognizes issues and escalates appropriately
Computer literate (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, SharePoint)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Role Desirables
Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP
Advanced degree preferred
Prior audit or project management experience
Six Sigma Black Belt or other Process Improvement or Quality Control expertise
Knowledge of Humana's internal policies and procedures
Sharepoint experience
Reporting Relationships:
You will report to an Internal Audit Consulting Manager.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
