A well established company in Sparks, NV is seeking a Direct-Hire Network/ Infrastructure Administrator to join their growing department. The candidate will report directly to the IT Director, and work closely with desktop support to assist in the day-to-day hands on administration. The Network / Infrastructure Administrator will ensure the security and reliability of the servers, network, and network resources at the companys corporate headquarters in Sparks, and at multiple Branch locations in Northern Nevada and California. The Administrator will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, support and maintenance of both physical and virtual servers. Duties Include: Supporting employee LAN/WAN, and palm/guest WIFI networks, Providing Citrix and VPN access Assuring reliable, secure and fast infrastructure and communication systems which (currently) consist of Cisco, Juniper/Trapeze, Sonicwall, iPrism, Working with HP servers and SAN storage systems Communicating successfully with vendors, team and peers. Being prepared for system failures, and disaster recovery. Documenting changes and produce or update job aids. Support other positions and task as requested or assigned.
