The Judge Group is seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Manager for a large fresh foods manufacturer in Maryland!


Responsibilities:
Oversees plant and production equipment cleaning, chemical handling, pest control, building and grounds
inspections and upkeep, and raw material inspection
Develops and sustains programs which focus on safety and cleanliness standards compliance
Supports company goals, processes and procedures to ensure highest quality products are produced in a
thoroughly clean plant environment
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules
and goals
Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established company policies
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; has budget responsibilities
Manages coordination of activities of a department with responsibility for results including costs,
methods and staffing
Provides supervision to exempt employees and/or non-exempt employees
Develops and implements a Plant sanitation program incorporating corporate, third party and customer
guidelines and
procedures that ensures the highest quality products are produced in a thoroughly clean plant
environment
Develops and implements log and inspection procedures, records and reports to ensure that tasks are
performed to expectations, documented and validated
Develops and monitors sanitation department budget and expenditures
Ensures Plant is audit-ready at all times
Researches and implements new and/or more efficient methods of cleaning that will benefit plant
sanitation efforts and company goals
Develops and oversees partnerships with vendors and contractors
Hires, trains, coaches and manages sanitation team
Measures employee and team performance
Reviews and approves time-card reports
Sets forth standards for safety
Ensures accident/loss prevention and security policies are followed


Qualifications:
5
Years Food Plant Experience
HACCP, USDA, FDA and GMP experience highly preferred
Ability to train employees
Ability to manage expenses or budget effectively
Basic Computer Skills
Speak, Read, and Write in English
Basic Math skills required
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to understand and take directions
Able to lift 50 lbs
Able to work in wet and dusty conditions


Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 plus bonus

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
