Job Details:
The Environmental Services Hospital transports, monitors and contains waste; performs work in a manner which reduces the risk of transmission of infection to patients, co-workers, and self; ensures that all areas of the key touch surfaces in all patient care rooms are kept to standards; cleans office and lounges; communicates with the Lead in charge to ensure cleaning priorities are met; interacts with patients, visitors, and associates in a friendly and efficient manner; completes interior/exterior window washing and spotting of walls and carpets; performs stripping, buffing, and waxing of hard floors in assigned areas; initiates and completes work orders; ensures that biohazard cooler is properly maintained; picks up and transports biohazard waste, and demonstrates the ability to adjust own schedule.
Required:
o Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
o Successful completion of the functional assessment for the Environmental Services II job description.
Preferred:
o Able to use a computer.
o Prior cleaning experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
