Human Resources Investigation Specialist
to assume responsibility for regional investigations. Functions will include training, guiding and supporting new and certified investigators in the Toyota Way of Investigations and corrective action; conducting investigations, as required; and tracking, analyzing and visualizing investigations activities.
Job Description
Establish processes to ensure consistency and integrity of investigations and corrective action across North America
Manage and monitor current investigation processes for kaizen and JKK opportunities
Develop additional processes to ensure consistent practices, reduce risk and strengthen capability of HR across North America
Identify and resolve complex problems impacting risk and capability of affiliate investigations and corrective action activities across North America
Work closely with peers and upper levels of management across multiple divisions and North American Manufacturing Companies to quickly resolve issues
Provide consulting services for local HR groups as to best practices for conducting complex, urgent investigations
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations or Business, or equivalent work experience
An investigation background
HR generalist experience helpful
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated project management skills
Proficient in written and verbal communications
Effective problem-solving skills
The ability to work effectively in a team setting
A customer-service focus and high sense of urgency
Experience working with and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
