Individual has in-depth knowledge in any one technological or industry practice area and overview of 2-3 other areas.
Individual handles solution definition/fitment for a small sized project with a medium complexity.
In case of domain consultant individual requires high level of Business Analysis skills and may have 7-8 BAs reporting into the individual.
In case of Technical Consultant the individual is a subject matter expert and may work with Functional/Technical Leads and Architects to contribute in solution definition.
Network Architect Wipro seeks an IP Network Design Architect to provide building solutions to address specific customer needs.
In this position, you will be working with technology experts in a number of areas in the Telecommunications industry, work with OEM vendors such as Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, F5 etc.
To provide solutions to the leading Media Service Provider.
This job requires exceptional technical skills along with the Media domain knowledges, related technical knowledge is crucial along with excellent communications is a key requirement.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer is expected to design and review custom requirements as part of global customers solutions coming in pre-sales.
Attend 3 times a week Custom Review forum in which custom requirements on any customer service (transport and managed, AVPN, ANIRA, MLAN, MIPT, BvoIP, eVPN, PNT, MIS, 3rd party, outsourcing) are discussed and approved for further design/solutioning work. Review, challenge.
Additional Skills
Good technology breadth of service lines .Will be the design SME for the respective solution reporting to the Project/Program & Solution Delivery Manager.
Responsible for identifying & assessing customer requirements/environment. Responsible to project detail design based on the requirement study.
Will necessarily get engaged in the project, during the detail design phase, & will base the detail design on high level design &customer inputs.
The detail design will adhere to all design decisions & design principles documented in the requirement and high level design.
Expected to hand-hold the implementation team, & guide the team during implementation of the solution.
Would also be expected to help the implementation team understand the design and if need be, help in executing the design at crucial junctures. The candidate is flexible to modify the document, based on changes by the design document. High level customer presentation.
The detailed design documentation should also have estimated effort and timelines for implementation.
The candidate will also need to participate in RFPs, RFIs and proof of concepts as and when required.
Should also provide transformation solutions in his area of expertise.
Effective communication skills, good articulation, ability to derive, understand, analyze business requirements
