The successful candidate for the Discogs Linux Systems Administrator position will have at least 3 years of hands on experience with the following technologies:
Supporting HP Procurve switches
LACP Trunking
Managing multiple VLANs
Configuring and managing VRRP
Working with STP
Link Aggregation under CentOS
Linux Traffic Control
IPTables
IDS and IPS
Open Source based firewalls and load balancers
Utilizing monitoring software packages Ganglia, MRTG, and Nagios
Working with remote controlled PDUs
KVMs and serial consoles
CentOS 5.x and 6.x
Shell scripting
Supporting high volume web-based application
The daily responsibilities and duties will include:
Administering network security
Network monitoring
Implementing and maintaining firewall rules
Implementing and maintaining load balancer rules
Support Office wired and wireless network devices
Manage ProductionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
