Real Estate and Construction Attorney
Duties: Will join the legal and corporate affairs (LCA) department. Will be part of team of attorneys and business professionals providing legal guidance and support to company's real estate teams in achieving their goals of timely delivery of cost effective workspace and facility solutions, and maximize the value of company's portfolio of real estate assets. Provide legal advice to assist in formulating business and transaction strategies that are cost-effective while prudently managing legal risks. Assist client in developing tools and systems that make cost-effective use of legal services. Primary are of responsibility will be North America, and as a consultant on legal matters in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Negotiate and document real estate transactions, design and construction contracts, and facilities operations, vendor and consultant agreements. Supervise outside counsel providing transactional, land use and dispute resolution services. Maintain and develop real estate and construction forms; develop and deliver legal training programs; consult and advise client with respect to legal implications of business and transaction-specific strategy. Determine allocation of legal resources inside/outside in coordination with client; application of corporate legal policies to real estate business affairs. Has frequent contact with various levels of Microsoft managers and employees and frequent contact with vendors, consultants, and outside counsel.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
