DUTY DESCRIPTION
The Telecom Inventory Specialist will provide program management and operational support for performing telecom physical inventory audit and asset management for any of the hundreds of Department of Defense (DOD) customers located in the National Capital Region (NCR) - particularly inventory of telecommunication assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily interfacing with the customer
Responding to customer questions and concerns
Review of customer inventory to support optimization of services
Monthly training for Telecommunication Service Control Officers (TSCO)
Facilitate meetings and work with Government stakeholders
BASIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree
Broad understanding of telecommunications
Ability to obtain a security clearance (if at any time the clearance is not granted ore revoked, employment will be terminated)
Knowledge of MS Office Suite - Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to prepare business correspondence and reports, also basic knowledge of chart, graph and table formatting.
Ability to make oral group presentations to influence others to accept a specific opinion, action to provide information or explain procedures, policies, etc.

TRAVEL
The travel required for this position is 25%, primarily in the National Capital Region.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
