General Maintenance Laborer, Summer Position

Position Objective
The General Maintenance Laborer position supports the efforts of the Facilities Manager in maintaining the physical appearance of Tyler's properties to a high standard. Candidates must be able to work independently but within established guidelines.
Responsibilities
Mowing of lawns
Landscaping
Assist maintenance team with needed repairs, upgrades to building systems
Painting (interior and exterior)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To safely run power equipment including but not limited to lawn mowers, chainsaws, and vehicles (tractor, truck or van)
Teardown, build or reconfigure furniture/cubicles as instructed
Lift 70 pounds
Must be at least 18 years of age
Occasional weekend hours
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Desired Experience
Landscaping experience a plus
Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge desired
Ability to navigate around a computer; comfortable using Microsoft products and email
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
