Position Overview:
As a key member of the core development team, the Software Engineer will collaborate with a team of developers and quality assurance engineers on the specification, design and creation of world-class software products.

Responsibilities
Functioning as a resource with demonstrated expertise in PHP, SQL/HQL, the Software Engineer will be responsible for participating in reviews of all code produced by their Agile development team, ensuring adherence to quality software development practices.
Participate in design discussions, documenting and reviewing designs using architectural best practices and striving for code quality.
Act as a resource on the team, designing, specifying and developing software applications.
Responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, collaborating on functional requirements, and coordinating team deliverables.
Responsible for staying current on the latest software and networking processes, tools, and methods, and for making recommendations on how these advances can be applied to the current products and engineering practices.
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.
A positive, innovative, energizing, collaborative work style is required.

years of object oriented, data-driven software application development experience required.
Experience/familiarity with LAMP stack required (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
Experience with mobile and web application development preferred.
Must have knowledge of database programming.
Experience with other current web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (AJAX, DHTML, and jQuery) desired.
Experience developing high volume, mission critical applications in Software-as-a-Service delivery model is highly desirable.
Hands-on development experience using one or more of the additional following languages (Java, C#, C++) a plus.
Experience with Git source control and Ant build scripting a plus.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must have strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results within tight deadlines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
